    Understanding and Responding to Dementia Related Behavior An education program presented by the Alzheimer’s Association® Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the primary ways for people with dementia to communicate their needs and feelings as the ability to use language is lost. However, some behaviors can present real challenges for caregivers to manage. Join us to learn how to decode behavioral messages, identify common behavior triggers, and learn strategies to help intervene with some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease.     Build a support system with people who understand. Alzheimer’s Association® caregiver support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to: -Develop a support system. -Exchange practical information on caregiving challenges and possible solutions. -Talk through issues and ways of coping. -Share feelings, needs and concerns. -Learn about community resources.
